• The W5600C is the modular version of the same product. The only difference is the fabric roller tube: the W5600C uses a tube connector system that allows all package sizes to remain under 2 metres regardless of awning width, significantly reducing international freight costs. Performance, appearance, and operation are identical once installed.
• The W5600 fabric is user-replaceable. The pull strap, polycord, and sail track mounting system allow the fabric to be removed and replaced without specialist tools. Replacement fabric is available for all sizes. For OEM partners and distributors, the W5600 is available with custom frame colors, private label branding, and tailored sizing within the 250–600cm range.
• W5600 provides a broad shaded area with a familiar roll-out layout. The awning is pulled outward against the roller's spring tension, and its support arms can be positioned at the vehicle wall or used toward the ground according to the installation configuration.
• The model is intended for vehicles with a reinforced vertical mounting area and adequate clearance around doors, windows, lights and service hatches. Final arm position, awning rail and bracket fixing must be checked against the vehicle structure before drilling.

The main awning structure uses high-strength 6063-T5 aluminum alloy for strength and durability in normal outdoor camping conditions.Use the product as a sunshade. Its structural design target is use in winds up to Beaufort Force 5 only when the awning is correctly installed, properly supported and attended. Retract it before conditions reach Force 6, whenever gusts become unpredictable, or when severe weather is approaching.

• Never move the vehicle with the awning open. Make sure the awning is fully retracted and secured before travel.
• Provide sufficient pitch for water run-off. Do not allow water or snow to accumulate on the fabric.
• If the awning is rolled up wet, open and dry it as soon as conditions permit.
• Installation must use reinforced structural mounting points; exterior aluminum or fiberglass skin alone is not a suitable load-bearing base.

Q1: What happens if the spring loses tension and won't rewind?

If the torsion springs lose pre-tension (typically caused by the awning being fully extended and then the spring-lock not being correctly engaged before a travel period), the fabric can be manually rewound. Measure the length of unwound fabric (L in cm), calculate the number of additional rewind circles needed using the formula n = 4 + L/28cm, then fully open the awning and add that number of circles of pre-stress to the left and right torsion springs. Q2: What is the difference between W5600 and W5700?

W5600 uses a spring pre-tension system — pull-strap operated, with the spring auto-rewinding the fabric on close. No motor or electrical components. W5700 is motorized — one button opens and closes the awning, with an emergency crank handle backup. Both cover 250–600cm and use the same 16oz PVC vinyl fabric.

Q3: Can I replace the awning fabric myself?

Yes. The W5600 fabric is designed to be user-replaceable. The polycord, pull strap, and sail track system allow fabric removal and replacement without workshop equipment. To order replacement fabric, send your model (W5600 or W5600C), the width in cm or ft, and your preferred color. Allow the replacement fabric to dry completely before rolling up after any cleaning.

Q4: Where does the LED strip attach on the W5600?

The LED strip slides into a dedicated groove on the fabric lock rail — the horizontal rail positioned between the two upper wall brackets, below the fabric groove. Q5: How high can the outer arms be extended?

The outer arms are adjustable from a minimum folded height of 1.75m to a maximum of 2.87m. If your caravan is taller than the arm minimum, extend the arm to suit and lock the position with the set screw. If shorter than 1.75m, the arm can be trimmed to a minimum of 1.45m by removing the top cap and cutting to the required height. Always set the outer arms with a slight outward incline so rainwater drains off the fabric rather than pooling at the centre.
