Class C motorhomes and Travel Trailers share similar mounting requirements (Wall Mount). Recommended models by scenario:

It will not completely stop generating power. Thanks to CIGS thin-film technology's lack of hot-spot effect, Awnlux solar awnings perform far better than traditional crystalline silicon panels under various shading conditions:

• Partial tree shade: Unshaded areas continue generating power; output decreases proportionally to shaded area without hot-spot effect.
• Single damaged solar cell: Damage affects only that cell's output; rest of panel unaffected.
• Partially rolled out awning: Any extended length generates power; more extension means higher output.
• Cloudy/diffuse light: Generates power under weak light; CIGS outperforms crystalline silicon in low light.
• Dirt or leaf coverage: Reduces efficiency but uncovered areas still generate power; regular cleaning recommended.
• Morning/evening low sun angle: Generates power at low angles; CIGS captures more spectrum and performs better in weak light.
• Shadow from RV AC unit: Local shadow does not cause total shutdown; minimize fixed obstructions during installation.

• Professional help needed? Physical installation (bracket fixing) can be done by experienced DIYers. However, for solar versions, electrical wiring should be done by professionals knowledgeable in 12V/24V DC systems.
• Standard support legs included? Yes, wall-mount models come with standard support legs.
• Tools required: Electric drill, screwdriver, tape measure, marker, sealant (for waterproofing), and other basic tools.
• Installation time: Typically 2-4 hours depending on experience and vehicle model.
• Two people required? Yes, due to length and weight, at least two people are needed to lift and mount the awning into brackets.
• Clear manual? Flexible compatibility via the MPPT controller is supported, and detailed installation videos are provided.

• Fabric only replacement? Yes, you can replace just the fabric without replacing the whole frame.
• How to measure: For W5600 and W5700: measure from center of right mechanical arm to center of left mechanical arm to confirm awning size, then measure actual fabric width and extension. Actual fabric width is about 10 inches shorter than awning size.
• Is installation difficult? Detailed 12-step guide provided; users with basic DIY skills can complete it.
• Need to remove whole awning? No need to remove arms or mounting brackets fixed to vehicle; just remove end cap on roller side and mechanical arm connection to pull out old fabric.
• Replacement fabric price: Contact sales or local dealers for latest pricing; much cheaper than buying a full new awning.
• Color options? Multiple fabric colors available to match your RV exterior.

1. Check fuses: First check if the fuse for awning motor or solar controller in RV distribution panel is blown.
2. Test manual override: For electric awnings, use supplied crank handle to test manual retraction to determine if motor failure or mechanical jam.
3. Check wiring connections: Inspect motor wiring and solar panel MC4 connectors for looseness, water ingress, or corrosion.
4. Measure battery voltage: Use multimeter to check RV battery voltage ensuring it is within motor operating range; also check MPPT controller input/output voltages.
